Israel Fortifies the Dead Sea

Israel is bolstering its fortification in the Dead Sea area.
The fence network, which includes steel, concertina wire, touch sensors, motion detectors, infrared cameras and ground radar, is almost complete along the boundaries with Egypt, Syria and Lebanon. Kathmandu – A monument containing a stone from the Dead Sea was placed on Mount Everest in a symbolic link between the lowest and highest points on Earth.
